Hi Ladies, just came accross this thread and hoped to join you.
I've got 3 children aged 6,4 and 2 and I am a single mum. I've had ME for about 13 years although only recently been diagnosed. Up until now doctors have passed it off as depression and only since the diagnosis have I been able to come off the anti depressants and feel good. well mood wise at least!! its so much easier to deal with when you know whats going on. Smile

just curious if you culd tell me what extra vitamins etc you all take? I've googled it but end up getting confused Confused I take Berrocca and iron daily and occasionally take calcium+vitd, but this one seems to make me feel anxious for some reason Confused. I also have complan several times a week. Is there anything specific you'd reccomend?

hope you've all had a good christmas xx

Welcome Dracschick - of course you can join us :) Though I don't know if you know, there is a thread in Childrens Health for parents of children with ME?

MrsS it only works with fresh pineapple I think Grin

I must say I am a bit disappointed, there had been such a delay in your posts, I was convinced you must have given birth! Hope you;re not in too much discomfort.

I've just dug the pineapple out of the cupboard - you know the random tins of "stuff" you have at the back Grin - I had 2 tins in there!!

DH has been helping me bake this afternoon as DD has her school cake sale on Friday so as a treat when he gets back from the school run he is going to help make fudge for himself. I wish I could make it on my own for him but I can't beat things without my arm muscles dying on me so he will have to help!

Still no further indication of this small one appearing - either needs to do it today or wait until Monday as DH has to go to the old house on Saturday to get the last "bits" with a friend in a van.

OT is also due to come back round and reassess now we are in the new house, SW doesn't think it is suitable for us here but the thought of moving again is depressing Sad

Boob how is your house move going? Did you speak to your GP about OT assessment?

Morning all how is everyone today?

I am now 40+1 and fed up, tired of not being able to sleep properly and ready for this LO to arrive. Also want him safely here especially after the recent loss on this forum for Cheese and her family Sad

Oh I love Pompey :) We'll certainly arrange something.

DP is somewhat of a house-work lover too. I don't even bother offering to wash up when we're round there now as he just re-does it anyway! Its fab, isn't it.

Glad they had a good time :) The sub museum is good - when before I was ill - but hard going. Worth seeing, though.

I'm near portsmouth so not far away. The -wine- herbal tea sounds good, I'm not back at work until April so will have lots of time!
Mm why am I not scrubbing floors - because my DH won't let me do any housework as that's his domain! Yes I do know how lucky I am!!
Good that your family will still be close - it is important to have that support.
DD loved FC - she was very impressed he is using a submarine this year and DH is now very keen to go back and do the whole visit to the submarine museum!

Why aren't you scrubbing the floors? Xmas Grin

Oh do I? Where are you? Wine Herbal tea would be excellent. :)

Have just been over unpacking. Would have been in last week but the snow had other ideas. Will be in pretty soon though. Am going to do my first big grocery shop tomorrow... Thankfully mum is driving me.

Its not that far away, maybe two miles? Far enough away for me to have my space, but close enough to help if I need them. Its ideal. I just need to sort out some form of internet now, because I will go mad without it Xmas Blush

Did DD enjoy Santa?

Currently sitting in car whilst DH takes DD to see the big man in the red suit! Who'd have thought he'd be using a submarine to get around this year!! Must have got it cheap on eBay after the defence cuts Xmas Grin

Did a Tesco run and now regretting it!! Same as yesterday - do a little exercise and have got contractions again! 3 in past half hour - have to wait and see if they settle again like last night.

You live just down the coast from me boob - once I've had this little one I will pop down and we could meet for herbal tea!

Are you in your new place properly yet? How far is it from your family? Will they still be able to help out?

You're much more interesting at the moment though Xmas Grin

I have never really drunk a lot, but I do still sometimes think "bugger it" and have a few glasses of wine / a cocktail or two. Its so rare I can actually muster the strength (and funds!) to go out, that when I do I like to make the most of it :) Feel fine this morning, or no worse than normal at least.

Am getting ready to move the rest of my stuff over today. Am anxious about how I'll cope...
