hanging baskets

is there anything i can put in a hanging basket now that will look good through the summer as well?

You can put the nasturtium flowers in a sald too, did you know? quite nice (we make marigold buns too- like rock cakes but you use the marigold flower petals instead of dried fruit)

thanks for that, will try some herbs and ivy, they are quite cheap to buy as well!!! mum suggested some nastursian (??? spelling) seeds as well so will bung some of them in as well

Definitely Ivy yes

I usually (assuming you have a absket by your door anyway) plant up with nice things like ivy, and some smelly herbs (lavender, or rosemary perhaps) and then fill in with potted flowers that I can chenge if it gets hot and they roast.

One year we'd had a lot of annoying visiors and I planted with curry plant Grin but Dh ahs banned me from that agin (hee hee)

Whatabout some ivy's? I have various types in my baskets, varigated and non, which stay in there all year. They look good all winter and I just plant around them with other flowery things depending on the season.
