Single foster carers?

Hi, I'm a single foster carer and have been for 17 years. My bio son was 5 when I was approved to foster 2 children younger than my son, he is 22 now

I also have another son aged 13 who came as a foster child aged 6 months, was with me so long it would have broke my heart for him to leave and adopted him when he was 3.

I now only have one foster child at a time and only 0 - 2s as my 13 year old has special needs and doesn't deal with older children very well.

Oh and I love my job even though I'm an emotional wreck every time a child moves on.

I was a single foster carer although I have a partner now.

I highly recommend it and know lots of single carers. Feel free to ask any questions you have
