Chicken salad??? help.

Can I make a chicken pasta salad without mayonnaise type thing?

dh on a diet. DD1 allergic to eggs.

I was thinking using lemon juice and olive oil instead of mayo.

i am using up a roasted chicken here.

A nice vinegarette on a potato salad rather than pasta is pretty good and much better for you.

I do a potato/honey/grainy mustard/sausage potato salad too that is officially my favourite all time salad1

i did it with basil, lemon juice and olive oil (what was in the house) and it was good! dh even had seconds.

that's the one. Very nice too if you mix 1/2 and 1/2 with plain yoghurt.

ooo salad is lovly with balsamic vinegar.

I'd do it with a vinaigrette; nice vinegar (balsamic, raspberry or hte like), olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, basil or tarragon. Maybe with some cold pasta?

i would etha buy a salad dressing sauce from the shop. or a salad dressing oil to go with the lemon juice instead of olive oil. i cant stand mayo of anykind.

do it with a viniagrette type dressing? I do a nice potato salad that's vinaigrette rather than mayo based.

with a bit of mustard in as well for some colour to the dressing.

Can you get to the shops? I use the egg free mayo (it's made from olive oil) as the real stuff makes me vomit.
