What hot drinks can I drink that I will enjoy?

I need to drink hot drinks, I feel the cold very easily (I've had bolls tests at the Docs - nothing wrong with me, although I have started to take a good quality multi-Vit.

I would love to drink tea - but unfortunately I have a bladder issue and can't take caffeine, so I've switched to De-caf tea - which tastes horrible, so now after a lifetime of no sugar in my tea I've started taking sugar in it.
I'm just about to hit the menopause and everything/everyone tells me not to eat/drink sugar.

Please can someone off me some alternatives?
I used to love hot lemon, but I stopped drinking that because I worried about the effect on my teeth. But of course now I'm drinking sugar!

I don't really like green/fruit teas.

I like milky drinks, but I am trying to cut down dairy because of the diary industry is not something I want to support.

Has anyone got any healthy but palatable ideas?

I hate tea / coffee. Try hot water with a few fresh mint leaves.

Wow, so many suggestions thank you!
The best decaf tea I've found (so far, and it's still not amazing) is Tetleys but I still try and look for any decaf tea to try.

I want to try and keep away from sweet things like squash, as there's still loads of sugar in them, I usually take a big flask to work and sip at it all day, which isn't great for your teeth!

I love hot marmite, but the thought of drinking it at work makes me feel a bit sick....it's strictly for home on a winters night for me that one.

The Dairy Industry? I guess I don't like the idea of babies being taken from their mothers and us drinking their milk. But I do eat meat once or twice a week and a bit of cheese/butter/cream plus cows milk in my tea, but it I can substitute cows milk and still like the flavour, then that's a plus for me.

I love Chai tea, but needs sugar in my opinion, I do need to be braver and try more fruit/mint teas, there must be some I can stomach without sugar!

I’m currently drinking a chamomile, lemon and honey tea by Ti Ora, bought from Sainsbury’s. It’s not sweet, but the hint of honey means you don’t get the bitterness you do with some green teas, I really like it. I do drink decaf Yorkshire tea at work, but at home I’m mostly on decaf coffee with a tiny bit of stevia instead of sugar, or this chamomile tea.

If you have mint in your garden or know someone who does then fresh mint tea knocks the socks off most packet brands. Stuff a handful of mint leaves in the teapot and steep until it's the strength you like.

Whether fresh or packet mint tea, I find a tiny amount of sugar perks up the flavour no end. A very very small pinch makes it more minty and refreshing.

You said you don't like green tea and usually I don't either but I tried Twining's Chocolate and Coconut green tea and found it delicious. Neither taste is overwhelming but both come through, and the aroma is gorgeous.

Decaf tea isn't as strong I find, apart from Yorkshire tea. Give that a go.

What cold drinks do you enjoy? You could try making hot versions of those.

Another vote for decaf Yorkshire tea, it's fab. I also like Jasmine tea, but only if it's brewed for a short amount of time - it gets quite bitter if you leave it longer.

I've also finally come around to chamomile tea after a lifetime of hating it. Mind you I always thought it tasted like grass and I still do, but now that somehow seems more appealing! I blame middle age Hmm

I drink clipper decaf and like it.

I usually find fruit teas don't live up to their smell but I do really like t2 peach tea and I also like their turkish apple tisane but it's very sweet.

Otherwise how about a london fog made with decaf earl grey? Maybe the combination would be better than straight decaf. You could use non dairy milk I would imagine.

I've tried decaf Yorkshire as I used to drink Yorkshire. Sorry but I hated it. Maybe they have changed the formula?
