What to do with pork loin steaks

I've got leftover four pork loin steaks to feed four. What shall I do with them?

Generally not overly keen on serve piece of meat with potato and veg type thing. Have already made a stir fry and a goulash with the rest. Parameters are (fussy bloody DH) nothing creamy, nothing sweet, nothing spicy.

Any ideas?

I was going to say schnitzel too - I was taught to make them by my late Austrian mil...delish!

Schnitzel Holstein. Classical use of pork loin steaks (or veal steaks). Similar to but more interesting than the Italian scaloppine milanese, and likely predates it.

Recipe here.

Agree with *theworldisfullofidiots", cook them like a saltimbocca. If they're v thick, slice in half before battering them even more thinly.

I like it with crunchy potatoes, sauté or just cubed small-ish, dried and baked with a little olive oil, s&p. Then lots of veg, agree spinach would be especially good.

Go Japanese. Cover them in panko breadcrumbs and serve them with katsu curry sauce and rice.

Better them thinly with a rolling pin. Put a sage leaves on top and then a slice of Parma ham. Fry in olive oil. It's v quick. Deglaze the pan with masala for a sauce. Serve with lemon risotto(small portion) and a side of spinach.

I’d slice them thinly and fry with a bit of Chinese five spice and serve with egg fried rice. Or cold in a wrap with loads of hoi sin sauce and salad.

Do you like Chinese food? Cooking them in hoi sin with aubergine, peppers and cabbage is really good.

Or, grill them with apple sauce and cheese?

This was from a Rosemary Conley book I think, wrap each steak in a slice of prosciutto with a slice of mozzarella and a sage leaf tucked inside. Place in casserole dish with a can of tinned tomatoes and the juice of one lemon. Bake in the oven and serve with rice.
