What do people with little time in the mornings eat for breakfast?

So I never know what to have for breakfast! Most of the time I don't have it as I'm in a rush then I eat junk mid morning.

Sometimes I have crunchy nut but I find I'm not full but I also don't like stodgy things in the morning Confused

What does everyone eat for breakfast?

Overnight oats (40g) porridge oats, muller light yogurt and fruit on top, keep in fridge overnight it is delicious, I eat every morning and alternate the fresh or frozen fruit, keeps you full all morning.

Sometimes I make a batch of 'breakfast muffins' (I make them up as I go along but basically some combination of oats, buckwheat flour, a little butter, egg, carrots, nuts, seeds and dried fruit and honey) and then freeze them. I just need to remember to get one out the night before, and that's a quick and easy breakfast.

Otherwise I might chuck some things in a smoothie bottle ready to blend in the morning, or have something like oat cakes and peanut butter/cream cheese. I like chia pudding too, although I know it divides opinion!

Fruit, or pre pre prepared boiled eggs.

Made the previous evening:
Smoothies of various varieties.
Cut up fruit, yoghurt, oats, seeds etc in a tub, kept in the fridge overnight. Can add a scoop of granola in the morning if you want something crunchy. Maybe take with in a little sandwich bag? Or have a pack at work like I do.
Overnight oats, perhaps with some chia seeds in to broaden the nutritional profile. Make with milk or juice. Can add fruit, nuts, spices if you like. Top with plain yoghurt & more fruit.
I find that the bags of frozen berries (sold for smoothies) are very handy. Just put some in a tub in the evening, mix in some oats & seeds, & leave to defrost overnight. Add yoghurt in the morning & go. (You may need some honey or similar on the berries - they're fairly tart & I don't have a sweet tooth so I eat them as they are but I think most people might not.)

I almost never eat breakfast at home...

Banana and a coffee. Sometimes grab a yoghurt from the fridge and eat when u get to the office.

My nutribullet is my best friend - I basically lived on smoothies both times I had horrible morning sickness, too. Put some porridge oats in and chia seeds and it really keeps you full up! I have a cupboard shelf full of my smoothie ingredients so I can change up the flavours from day to day.

I make overnight oats and eat them when I get to work. They usually fill me up til lunchtime.

Trying to shift a stone at the moment, so my usual toast & coffee routine has been replaced by a protein shake and a banana. Tends to keep me full until lunchtime, takes less time to eat than porridge, and very quick to prepare.

Been reading articles lately that breakfast is not in fact the most important meal of the day and that it's beneficial to give your system a rest and do all your eating in an 8 hour window...

Quick eat-at-home - cereal, granola, porridge, overnight oats/chia pudding, soy/coconut yoghurt, fruit, toast with nut butter, avocado or chia jam, smoothie, 'breakfast parfait' (layers of fruit, granola, yoghurt). Any of these are 10 mins, max, most can be eaten whilst doing other stuff.

If I don't have 10 mins in the morning, I am doing something wrong and need to re-organise my routine!

On-the-go stuff when I'm not organised - fruit, snack bars, protein flapjack. I keep a stash of snack bars in my car, and also at work, along with a few snack pot type things. For emergency uses!

may have also figured out that McDonald's drive thru do vegan hash browns and porridge for extreme emergencies!

I find workplace breakfast eaters annoying. I'm sure none of you are, but those at my workplace are very ostentatious eaters of their 'healthy breakfasts', making sure that everyone is aware that they have discovered fruit and oats in a jam jar.

They then eat a zillion hard boiled eggs for 'snack' (about 9am).

Please don't take hard-boiled eggs to work to eat at your desk! I had a colleague who did this and the smell was awful. Weird, because I can eat them myself at home.

Nothing. Don't eat until lunch (or sometimes even later). I take yoghurts to work but never get time to eat them!

If I've got a bit more time then a cinnamon bagel with almond butter and banana is my favourite breakfast

I don't.

(I have full fat Greek yogurt, frozen berries and ground flaxseed at about 11am at work. At weekends I do t eat till about 3pm.)

You can scramble eggs in the microwave in 90 secs. Just crack them into a bowl, add butter & whatever else you want, then nuke. I have them every day.
