I love beans on toast - it's a good meal. We had leftover bits and bobs - cold pasta, salad, some chickpeas.

grilled belly pork, potatoes and carrots here. I love it when ds1 eats a whole 'proper' dinner

I never do seperate meals for ds, because he isn't fussy and will always taste it - don't put me up against the wall yet, he lived on cheese, bacon and bananas for a year.

ANd I've 'packed' a wholemeal loaf and beans to have for tea tomorrow when we finally make it to the cottage (going to Cornwall)

Er quite lazy as we are going on holiday in the morning and I've still not finished packing and getting things together.

Kids have had 'picnic' tea - crackers, cheese, ham, cucumber, tomatoes, black and green grapes, strawberries, apple followed by a mini bag of chocolate buttons

We are having chippy tea

hoo-bloody-ray - finally persuaded him to eat one slice of chicken - he said it had a horrible after-taste - ds2 however hoovered it all up and ate half of ds1's as well.

I think I'd go completely mad if I didn't have ds2 and his healthy appetite.

lol nemo - yes that'll be the fish and chip shop opposite the award winning CAMRA pub at the end of our road.

Mind you, dh and I are the youngest in there by about 20 years if we pop in!

Can't be arsed today either got pizza and chips in the oven, we have people coming round to watch BB final at eight so just wanted something quick. I would have cooked but i've spent the best part of the afternoon putting music on my mp3 player!

I just threw chicken, noodles, onion, beansprouts and mushrooms into a wok. Nice and easy.

I feel your pain. Have had MANY mealtimes like that. Do any of you ever get to the stage where you cannot be bothered cooking the same old same old over and over..

sheeesh - I wish I hadn't bothered and given them beans on toast instead.

I cooked chicken in olive oil garlic and parsley in the oven, with mash and veg

ds1 ( aged 7) is refusing to even try the chicken - I'm in here avoiding him before I strangle him

roast/baked chicken is usually one of the few meat things he will eat and he's just told me he already had it on Sunday and doesn't want it again

children having pasta and cheese, with peas and cucumber - in my defence I do have 2 extra children unexpectedly, and this is something they will all eat that I have in. DH and I will be having a takeaway later - our Friday night treat!
