Fish tank in bedroom - how big can it be

Dd wants a tank to go in her room. We have bought one from eBay that is 125 litres. Is that going to be too heavy to have in a bedroom? And if so, what size would be ok?

If you want to make doubly sure then a builder would be able to tell you the approximate weight limit :)

No, 125 litres should be fine, I've had bigger than that upstairs. 1 litre weighs just about a kilo so 125 litres is no heavier than a large person. If you can set it up so that it lays across the floor rafters rather than along them then that will make it even safer.
