my fish has red and white on him!

my baby panda cory has some red on one side of him... maybe blood? but under the scales rather than on the surface of him

it looks as though there is something white too (on the outside of him), but i can't tell if it's just a gap in the red, or if it's damage, or if it;s something growing on him (fungal infection or something?)

any advice greatly appreciated...

The red patches sound like haemorrhaging maybe? Are the white patches fuzzy or slimy looking? It sounds like it could be a bacterial infection with some kind of secondary infection (not sure on that yet)- any chance of a pic? And you just know I'm going to ask what the water readings are Grin

otherwise white growing on the surface is usually fungal

Hello, thank you both for replying, sadly he died a couple of hours after I posted!

No idea what it was... he is quite small so it was really hard to see what the white was
