I agree with you OP. The thing I find chilling about those who insist that climate change is man-made as opposed to cyclical is the shutting down of any opposing views as evidenced by the scientists in this film, one of whom is a Nobel Prize-winning physicist. Surely if the Net Zero fanatics were supremely confident of their position they would welcome debate? It leads me to wonder how many scientists quietly oppose the mainstream view but keep quiet for fear of losing jobs or funding. Lets not ignore the fact that the push to Net Zero is making a lot of money for some people at the expense of the poorer in our societies. The other aspect of all this that worries me is the similarities with other movements (which all seem to have arrived together) such as BLM and and the gender self-ID movement as well as the huge proliferation in DEI initiatives in commerce and our institutions, the "pro" arguments for which appear to be designed in such a way as to make any dissent prove their points. They all seem to me to have their roots in anti-capitalism and Marxism. I can't be the only one who finds this all a bit sinister.

I agree but there is money to be made, lots and lots of money peddling the myth that humans are responsible for cyclical weather changes.

Well said. It feels like we are gradually losing our freedoms bit by bit. I find Greta highly annoying. She is thriving off the attention she’s getting from this. They have introduced a safer streets initiative in the town where I live to encourage people to walk their children to school but it takes no account of the parents who have to drive in because they have to combine the school run with the commute to work. With no-fun 2030 approaching im sure they will think of more and more initiatives to make our lives more and more miserable.
