I was browsing on Netflix and found Boychoir. Much to my surprise, it was a very enjoyable movie.

Not sure of your taste, but you may like it too.

Netflix
a royal noght out... silly but fun!

cranberryX I loved Odd Thomas too! great although a little heartbreaking!

thoroughly recommend STARDUST ... supposed to be available on netflix... but can't find it! A really really lovely film... with the gorgeous scrumptious Charlie Cox and a terrific turn from robert de niro!!!

On Netflix:
Nebraska. It was my 2nd favourite film of 2014. Loved the ending!

There's also a very old very dark comedy, Harold and Maude. In fact I may watch both of them again very soon!

Ah I just went and had a look at 'Begin Again' due to all PP recommendations... and saw it has Keira Shitely in it. What a disappointment. Don't think I can bear K's wooden acting tonight... unless she has improved dramatically?

Little Miss Sunshine is a bloody brilliant feel-good film, doesn't feel like it as the character build is really indepth, but it's just wonderful
What Dreams May Come makes crying a cathartic help
If you like Joss Whedon then Doctor Horrible's Singalong Blog is on youtube in full (and excellent)
Dreamgirls is one of my favourites

(and White Chicks. Don't judge me. It's all about Terry Crews)

And Gone Baby Gone was good, but I don't think it's anybody's idea of uplifting.

Warrior is always worth a watch if it's still on Netflix.

Still Alice and Selma are free on one or the other. Not cheery films but brilliant.

I'm currently watching guardians of the galaxy. Lots of funny bits I've seen it a good few times. I'm watching it on sky though so unsure on Netflix or prime!

I loved The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

It was a lovely, easy, funny, feel good film.

Not read your other thread, but hope things get better for you soon.
