Who did you walk down the aisle with at your wedding?

Don't want my dad to "give me away" - bleurgh!!

But not sure I fancy the walk on my own?

Not that we are having an aisle as such, it will be into the centre of a circle as we've chosen to have all of our guests form a circle around us (small wedding, just family and a few close friends).

We have a gorgeous little girl together who will be flower girl and one much older bridesmaid.

I'd love to hear suggestions/about what others have done.

We walked in together, with 15 yo dd1 in front of us, and 5yo dd2 in between us. It was a very small registry office wedding, but I still managed to have 5 bridesmaids .

My mum walked down the aisle with my dad, her DH to be. Her own dad died when she was 13 and she didn't want anyone else to take his place.

I just walked on my own, no aisle as wasn't a church wedding, I just walked into the room followed by one of my oldest friends (I hesitate to call her a bridesmaid) who was one of our witnesses.

I never considered my dad to have given me away, but I did want him to walk down the aisle with me because I trust him, love him, have known him all my life and didn’t want to do it on my own!
