ELECTRIC DRILLING IN A BLOCK OF FLATS

I live in a block of flats. My neighbours started general renovations of the flats neighbouring with mine. They didn't even say a word. There should be law that there should be a duty of informing your neighbours in advance about planned renovations, how long they are going to last, what works will be done. I had less than 1000 Pounds on my bank account and wouldn't have been able to move to a hotel. I am hypersensitive to noise and stimuli and the sound of an electric driller is one of the most annoying sounds to human brain. I am an artist and I work at home on storyboards, I should have peace. I couldn't afford to rent an office. The have wretched my nerves and led me to a long depression. I only needed to finish my sytorybopoards and sell them to make money to move away to some better place and better conditions but I failed to do it since they wretched my nerves and I had to go to a psychiatrist instead. The medicines I got made me almost walk on the walls and I was unable to sleep for 3 weeks. Additionally my nevely painted wall cracked because of the vibrations their electric drilling made. I never fully recovered after those damn renovations. They have ruined my life and it took me 4 years to only partially recover. I can only hope life pays them off for that. They moved away and let the workmen in. The noises woke me up at 7 am as I was frightened with being woke up with such a noice. Once they scared me away from the bathroom. I run away from under the shower and only by some miracle I haven't slipped on wet feet and haven't fallen and broken my head I could have killed myself because of their damn renovations!
