I hope you are ok on the 150mg. I expect the side effects get better with time and most people seem to find the tablets helpful so probably worth trying to ride them out.

I'm currently on 150mg, it's given me my life back. 9 months ago my anxiety was so severe I could barely function and hadn't worked in a few years but now I'm about to start a new job.

The only side effect I get now is sweating but it's a small price to pay.

Hi there I started of at 75mg my anxiety went through the roof but I've been given diazepam to help calm me down as from today I start taking 150mg xx

I've been on them for a week now, just increased my dose to 37.5 mg twice daily. I was getting really bad headaches which were easing off but now I've increased the dose I've noticed them back and my anxiety is horrendous. Dose this sort of match with what other people have found? I'm back at the doc on Thursday so will obviously speak to him.

It inhibits b12 absorption and I already had low levels when I took it 4 years ago, long story short, I ended up very ill with pernicious anemia :( never again.

It's been amazing for me! It got me from hospital back into work and going about my usual life and hobbies and actually enjoying them within three months. I'd say it started helping a tiny bit after about two weeks and I had the full benefit in four weeks. I've not had any side effects at all apart from the nausea during the first two weeks. You do need to remember to take it daily though not to feel awful like the others said. For me the trouble seems to be to keep taking it. I only need to have some difficult times in life in general and I start self sabotaging and stop taking them. Takes about a week or two and I'm tearful and hopeless again.

Good luck. Hope it works as well for you as it has done for me!!

I've just been started on these, starting at 37.5 dose to increase gradually. The first couple of days I felt very spaced out but that's gone now however I've had a very bad headache since I've been on them. Has anyone else had this and how long did it last for?

I’ve been on it since last May. I’m not good at taking it properly tbh. The side effects are quite bad for me. In my circumstances I’m not sure that any anti depressant can save me anyway Sad

Saved my life too. I had minor brain zaps when weaning off them but totally worth it. Took about a month or two to find the right dose that worked for me. Best of luck to you.

You should feel a difference in 2 weeks, if you don't then it is time to start thinking about increasing the dose.

I went on 37.5mg, then 150mg. That made quite a big difference but not totally solved so went to 250/275g (can't quite remember). Have since gone to 300mg but 150mg was enough to dig me out of the pit, the rest is just to keep me out of moderate depression (not suicidal, just catatonic!)

I'm on 300mg and it's saved my life.

Obviously they start you on the lower dose and if that isn't working they gradually move it up.

Good luck x

Sorry to highjack
Bansku
Are you better now, as you don’t need them?
How long were you on them before you started to come off?
I’ve never known anyone on such a high dose, thought 375mg was the highest

So are you drug free now? Why did you come off.

Also those on it still
Do any of you get like a sensation
Mines on my ear, always the same one
It’s like someone flicked an elastic band at my ear, it’s so intense I have to hold it
It’s only for a couple of seconds but not everyday. That’s the only way I can explain it
Anyone

Saved me too.... Takes a week or so to start feeling the benefits and during that time you may sink lower but keep with it.... After about 3 weeks you will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I was on 300mg for 2yrs and now down to 225....tried 175mg but it was too much so back up again. I also echo about forgetting..... I ran out on a BH weekend....i felt suicidal on withdrawal on 3rd day, not saying it to scare you, just to make you remember to take them if your dose is upped.

Eek. Got that totally upside downHmm Sorry.

Was 3pm, I now see.

I’d still move the dose time in stages though. Say, next dose after 21 hours (at 12 noon) then again after another 21 hours, taking you to a 9am dose time. You don’t want a jump of 6 or so hours in dose time, not now or later.
