Excuse the oh so catchy title.

It's my 3rd round of BSD, I'm just about going to squeeze in 7.5 weeks before I go away. I don't expect anyone to follow this but I'm going to do it anyway to motivate myself. Please feel free to join me!

I'm aiming to lose a stone, that's just shy of 2lb a week.
Weight today: 12.4
My plan is simply to follow the plan- 800 cals a day of Med style eating, with no pasta, rice, potatoes, grains or sugar.

Total cals:867
Total carbs: 16g
Exercise: none, except several hours of housework

Lovely food tonight, had Moroccan beef casserole and kale. Very tasty!

Wow I haven't been back for a week! That's awful! Today is day.....err.... 36? Yes, 36.

I've had a great day today, but a terrible week. I have hidden the scales, that's how bad it was. I've planned my menu, done my shopping and I'm going to try so hard now for the next 2.5 weeks.

Today I didn't eat until about 1 and then i only had a slice or two of chorizo, then had an early tea at 5. Not sure if that's sustainable long term, but it worked for me today as I think I needed a fasting window to reset myself as I have just been grazing all week. Tomorrow, must drink more water.

Day 29
Haven't calorie counted today. All food on plan, except maybe just a little more than necessary! Figured it's better to eat more than give in to my carb cravings (pmt!)
Tonight's dinner-
Pork chops, cauliflower gratin and veg. Yummy!
I've also been trying to cut down on coffee these last few days . Yesterday had 2 (down from 4) and 2 decaf. Today had 2 and 1 decaf. Yesterday it made me feel quite irritable but was better today.

Will try to get back on the calorie counting tomorrow but not promising anything......

Exercise- 2x school run, house work.

Good day food wise, had delicious tandoori chicken and salad for tea.
I've switched to light mayo as the full fat stuff is 100 cals a tbsp, which is technically against protocol but it's meaning I can have my salads and not break the bank!

Exercise-school run x 2 plus 1.5 hours walking round town with ds in the buggy.

Great day today although i had a moment of weakness- ate leftover chicken from yesterday but then didn't have enough cals left for my tea! Ended up rejigging my week menu and so managed to recover it, but I didn't technically have a proper meal this evening.

Little post weekends weigh in- 11-10 which means I've lost a total of 8lb (but in reality have lost and gained the same few lbs a few times)

This needs to be a very focused week!

Meh, day 20. Awful.

Planned for the week ahead though, need my mind back in the game for the next 4.5 weeks. 33 days.

Not even going to weigh myself tomorrow as I know it's a gain this week. I deserve it really, looking back over the week there's been some good meals but a lot of cheating.

I'm aiming for 5 days on track now, with an average calorie count of 700 which gives me a bit to play with each day if I need it.

Plan: drink more water, less coffee
Get some exercise in if I can even if that's just the long walk to school.
Follow my plan and weigh and measure everything.
Follow the strategies for fasting days from the 5:2 diet book, especially on the early days.

Day 19

Didn't post but food was actually ok, although was not counted. Quite a lot of wine though!

Day 20

Weighed in today at 11.10.4 which means I'm a pound heavier than I was on day 11! This has been a terrible week though, i don't think I've had a proper day on plan really although have had some OK days, none have been brilliant. Family do today, should be lots of salad and BSD options. I won't calorie count, will try but to drink too much, and will steer clear of the desserts!

Need to menu plan and shop for the week ahead and I think I'm going to meal plan my 800 calories so I can properly do it this week.

Day 17

Carbs 68
Exercise 2 x school runs plus promised ds walk to park, so prob an hour walking mostly uphill in 31* heat.

Higher carbs today as I've had a mostly vege day. Had falafel for dinner, a bean salad (pre prepped but was delicious) and various salad items. Just a few prawns with my lunch. This was in response to quite a high calorie and meat loaded few days what with bbq's over the weekend and all week due to the weather. I feel very full now after my tea, kitchen closed!

Tobee they are halloumi fries- however, I could only get light/low fat halloumi and they went very rubbery. The full fat makes them much nicer!
I need some new veg ideas but in this heat I can't be bothered and salad will do.

That looks good as usual, bear. Are they halloumi chips? Did you mention them on bsd thread previously? I tried them and accidentally over cooked them on my griddle and they were extremely crispy and they were lovely, love halloumi anyway.

Exercise - school run (v v hot today!)

Couldn't manage 800 cals, I had a few too many little nibbles of things and they soon add up! Carbs very low though. Plus I drank absolutely gallons of iced water with lemon, probably 5 pints of not more. Cut down my 4 coffees to 2. Tomorrow I'm going to try and have one of those 2 coffees black, hoping it puts me off drinking them!

I'm pleased with today even though it was a bit calorific, my food was delicious. Tomorrow I'm going to try to stick to 800 as I know that yields good results; to do this I think I need to hold off eating as long as possible, aim for lunch not brunch. It is definitely the early afternoon when I pick at food and that's always after I've eaten.

Day 13

Food good, on plan, but calorie counting went amiss a little a lot

Glorious sunshine, few glasses of rose, so nothing too horrendous but still. Tomorrow not looking too optimistic either as we've just been invited to a BBQ. Next week will be back to basics, back on track.

All gone horribly wrong with mum's and babies coffee morning and several pieces of cake.

I'm allowing myself the day off on the proviso that I don't spend the whole weekend off. Back to business tomorrow!

Today has not exactly gone to plan, an unexpected carb overload (on stodgy school dinner samples no less), so calories and carbs now way over!
Here's the food pics anyway.

Must now he very careful as the weekend is looming and I cannot afford a four day carb fest
