I came off the pill (Yasmin) in June after about 11 years on it. My first symptoms were really sore nipples, nausea and weight gain. The first two have stopped, and weight gain seems to have stopped increasing but I still can't shift the extra I've gained (have gone from about 8 and three quarters of a stone, to 9.5 stone which is my heaviest ever).
I have also started getting really itchy acne on my back, chest and neck - strangely not my face, despite suffering very severe acne on my face (and back) as a teenager. Can anyone advise on how to deal with this without returning to the pill? Does it clear up as your body gets used to not being on the pill?
