Dance Direct do a purple acrylic one for £5.95 plus £3.95 postage The girls at dd's dance school wear this colour with a lavender leotard.

Dance Gear Direct make them in whatever colour you want A lilac cotton one would be £10.70 plus £2.90 postage

I can get a lavender long sleeved acrylic for £8.89 plus £2.95 postage or a 3/4 sleeve one for £8.65 plus £2.95 postage

thank you everybody - ended up on ebay in the end as was at the dance school prices, easily £4-5 more than most other places!

if anyone knows where i might be able to find a lilac cardigan i would be grateful to hear about it as all of them seem to be either pink or blue...have tried all the usual places and think i may well end up posting granny a pattern and some wool...

The cheapest place online is dance direct. I can get some stuff cheaper from a trade catalogue but not worth it once you factor in postage.

Is it the new RAD pre-primary uniform? If so stuff from Tesco etc won't be acceptible but Dance Direct do regulation alternatives to the officeal RAD (Adagio) dancewear.

The new Tesco's direct catalogue that has just come out has got some ballet stuff in it.

To be honest, unless I can get a rare bargain on eBay, I haven't actually found that anywhere is as good as getting it from the teacher. DD's dancing school is cheaper than all the shops around here and has the added advantage of DD being able to try stuff on.
Also, it makes doubly sure that she has the right stuff.

I used to get DD2's dancing things from here they were always really good and helpful about sizes, stock etc and often have good items in the special offers.
