Yes or no to posting items abroad?

I have had a buyer ask if i would send an item to france.

All my previous listings I have always stated UK only but i know this item would sell well if i agree to post abroad. But is it worth the hassle?

Can you get a parcel tracked/signed for to france so as to cover any problems with paypal claims etc?

If it's cheapish, I do International Signed For, if over £10 I do Airsure, but not all countries even in the EU do that, eg Italy! Paypal will support you with either of those (apparently - I've had no problems and glowing feedback from grateful overseas buyers. Especially glowing from the ones who didn't ask if I'd send to their country before bidding!)

I tell potential bidders how much it will cost for ISF/Airsure p+p, and usually it helps bump up the bidding but the winner is in the UK anyway.

yes I've sent to U S A and Spain - no problem I used the cheapest method but it was just clothes.
Depends on the value re method of postage but yes def sell abroad.

You could send it international signed for, as long as the customer is willing to pay the extra.

I must admit I have sent dozens of parcels normal airmail and they all arrived safely.

I have sold abroad a few times - Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, Eastern Europe and no problems at all so far....

I think international posting rates includes insurance (can't remember off the top of my head).

But I would go for it, why not??!?
