Quick question about Buy It Now

I have a buggy on ebay listed yesterday starting at 99p and bin at £55 it now has 4 bids (£21) but buy it now has gone, does it dissapear once bids are on an item?

yes if you have a staring price and a buy it now price the minute someone bids the buy it now option is gone
