I bought a grobag from ebay and it arrived this morning. It stated in description
"In original packaging ... there is a very, very slight mark on the front which is barely visible"

I read this to mean it was brand new - don't ask me why, at the time it seemed a fair assumption

However its arrived with several marks; one on the inside white fabric at neckline, the mark on the front which is mentioned, another on the back neck line. All fairly faint but def. 'seeable'
Am i annoyed because i wouldnt sell an item in less than perfect condition and dont expect others to or is it just beacause I expected it to be new and it isnt?
So should i take it on the chin and get the vanish out and hope they come out or do i have anythign to complain about?

How friendly to make message?
"i realise this must be a mistake/oversight" type of thing
OR
Just state the facts

Contact the seller.

I did this with a teapot. There was a large chip on it, that hadn't been stated in the description and wasn't showing on the photo. The seller insisted that it must have happened en route, but the fragments weren't in the packaging. She gave me half my money back via paypal, which settled the problem really.

I know, i realise the 'not new' issue is my own stupid fault for mis-reading the ad. Well not even mis reading, more reading it badly!

there is nothing you can do about the fact that it isn't new as it didn't state it was new.

If you are not happy about the various marks you can message the seller and ask for a refund, and you will have to return it (recorded)

If the seller refuses to refund you can open a dispute and will probably have to present evidence of the marks. Depending on the severity of these marks....well, it won't be certain to go in your favour. If the dispute finds in your favour you will have to return (trackable) and then you will get a refund. (but not the return postage)

To be fair it didn't say new... it could be falling apart and be put back in its original packaging.

However if its dirtier and got more marks than the 'very slight mark' I would make a paypal claim.
