Yesterday my soon to be /(or should I say 'not soon enough') ex-husband sent an email to me to which I discovered he'd cc'd his solicitor, a social worker and his best friend discussing details of our historic sex life!!! He did this as he discovered I'd tried to forward an email from his best friend. He thought I was upset because the email discussed his relationship with a 'friend' which had gone horribly wrong for him. He wanted to justify why it was OK for him to have an affair blaming our non-existent sex life. He also attached a religious website that gave a bible quote that basically said that a women's body became the property of her husbands once married!!! I was totally speechless!!
To add insult to injury his friend congratulated him on a well written email and said something along the lines of let's hope she understands the message.
I had to point out to him that we are now at the decree Nisi stage and the reason are marriage failed is irrelevant. The only thing that made me feel slightly better was that he is likely to be building a rather large legal bill if he does this sort of stupid thing.
The real reason that I tried to forward the email in the first place was that his friend was trying to imply that the reason I could not make our first mediation session was lie (I actually have a work commitment).
