I am going to try and see a solicitor who accepts legal aid - but before I do - the only proof I have of domestic abuse is a letter from social services after I called the police . The letter is warning us that they will take action should the police be involved again because of the impact of domestic abuse on a child and summarises the reasons I called the police. Is this is enough to qualify for legal aid for divorce?
