Does anyone have carols they like in European languages other than English. Silent Night in German of course, but I'm looking for a few others.

Well, there are dozends and dozends - here are some classics in German:.
Children and present themed:

  • Lasst uns froh und munter sein
  • Morgen Kinder wirds was geben
  • Kling Glöckchen
  • Bald nun ist Weihnachtszeit

more religious:
  • Alle Jahre wieder
  • Es geht ein wunderbares Singen
  • SĂ¼ĂŸer die Glocken (ends every christmans service in my community)
  • Ihr Kinderlein kommet (nativities)
  • Wir sagen euch an den lieben Advent (for the 4 advent Sundays)

Thanks. Il est ne... and Adeste Fideles were already on my list. I hadn't thought about Tannenbaum. I'll have to look up those Spanish ones.
It will be in December Dad.

But not until 1st December at the earliest. Grin

O Tannenbaum in German is an old favourite. We used to sing it at school in German lessons.
