What is your favourite?

Recently bought two copies of his most famous works.

No one else a fan?

Not my cup of tea.

We have a print of Bluebird at Bonneville as DH is a car nut and was involved in world landspeed records in a way. I think Vettriano got very popular in the 80s or 90s and then people got snobby about him? I love his paintings.

He’s talented, but trashy.

I think some of us were snobby about him the first time we saw one, didn't have to wait for a backlash.

Not for me and some of the pictures of women are really trashy.

He is quite vocal about his times spent visiting brothels in Edinburgh. I get the distaste for his art. It isn't all to everyone's taste.

I am a fan. Very fortunate to own 7 signed limited editions. Most bought from the Portland Gallery and Hearbreak publishing sometime ago. All are now worth more than I paid so good investment. Don’t plan on selling them but you never know what the future holds.

Jack Vettriano is a great artist although some of his images have been controversial . Bluebird at Bonneville is one of my favourite prints . Lunchtime Lovers is a great art deco image
