Irish treats for England

Hi folks, I'm returning to visit my old work in England and wanted to bring the department some typical Irish treats that can't be got in England but can't think of what to bring. Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone - some fantastic ideas. I am going to go with kimberleys and top hats as it's for to put in the staff room.

I never heard of Veda.
Punjana tea is better than Barry's or Lyons. There I've said it.
Top Hats are delish.

Club Orange and a chicken fillet roll is totally the best hangover cure :D

If you have a cold box - pear picking porkies, rocky rasps, polly pineapples, Mr frosties and some choc pops!!

Lindy2 Club Orange is a soda drink, similar to fanta i guess but made with real fruit pieces like Orangina etc - they do different flavours but theres nothing on earth like ice cold Club Orange on a hangover

Asda occasionally have an 'Irish Food' Section in their larger stores, this is a must purchase!

Club Orange or Rock Shandy in cans. Tricky enough to find unless you're in one of the old Irish areas but one of the things I miss!

No not with the other cheeses, it was in a weird place with Polish stuff etc. In a random section full of dubious looking sausages

Highly amused with the humble Calvita stuck in with the dubious looking sausages. It must have felt right out of place!

Also debating about getting Calvita! (plastic cheese should go the distance of travel time?)

Ah here. There's no reason in this day and age for anyone still to be eating Calvita!

Tanora was another lovely fizzy drink, we used get it in Cork. Tangerine flavour. Don't know if it's still made...

It is indeed still made here. I polished off a bottle of it last night. Ice cold Tanora is pure nectar.

Are tobacco onions an Irish thing?

Icebergers don't melt though. That would put me off them. They must be 20% polystyrene.

The Mikados that people are talking about aren't the ones that you get in Supermarkets in England. They are a jammy marshmallowy biscuit.

@splatattack love the ramone and love Tabacco onions they are NI's best steak topper.
Love the desserts at the Ramone.
Desserts England are missing is the raspberry ruffle cheesecake
If any of your are near Earlsfield in London they have a little Irish ship called Mandy's where you can get yourself some taytos, a football special and a yummy brunch bar (best ice cream ever).
