Help! Deep cot mattress/bedside cot question!!!

Help! I have a lovely Troll bedside cot in my possession which I want to start using as DH and I are getting way too tired to safely co-sleep in my opinion.

The beside cot works beautifully but our stupid bed mattress is a bit too high. I basically need a cot mattress (60 x 120) which is about 22cm depth and the most I can find is about 10/12cm.

Does anywhere do thick mattresses? Or is there any safe way to put something underneath? Could I put on two mattresses? Is that safe?
Or a piece of foam underneath? I am unsure what you can do to be safe.

(The cot is very tall so there would still be a safe distance to the top of it even with the large depth mattress, by the way....).

Help!

Thank you from one very tired woman.

I can see this was an exceptionally dull question. Grin

I rung FSID and they said there was no problems with two good fitting new mattresses with waterproof covers on top of each other and that was safest option. The only thing to watch out for was in case it made the mattress on top warmer, in which case just check the baby's temperature for a couple of nights.
