Help! Advice needed for Moses Basket Mattress and Stand

I have been given a moses basket, but it needs a new mattress and a stand. The basket seems a bit small to me though and I can't find a stand or mattress for it anywhere. What do you think? The maximum measurement at its top is 74cm x 46cm approx and at the base, the basket measures approx 63cm x 34? Any ideas or do you think the basket is too small to last for any significant amount of time and I should just go with a different option?

Oh I should add that we don't have room in our bedroom to put baby straight into the cot, so we do need a moses basket or similar to start off with.
