I (think) I can definitely see a line, but do you think it’s an indent, it came up within 2 minutes but I’ve been tracking ovulation and didn’t think I had ovulated this month yet. Unexplained infertility and extra long periods. So struggling to believe it’s anything other than an indent

Ovulation kits never worked for me, I got pregnant twice when the tests said I hadn't ovulated haha

That’s definitely a line. I took one of these tests at 8 or 9 DPO and that’s what it looked like for me. My daughter is about to turn one. I’ve got everything crossed for you. If you can get a first response early result, it’ll be more clear. I took one on the same day as getting my faint line on the cheap test and it was a very clear line.

@HanaJane ah that’s good to know, I tried alsorts and so focused on well if the ovulation test said I haven’t ovulated then it’s not possible haha so that’s good to know thank you!

Congrats on your daughter ☺️ I’ll do another one of these in the morning (have about 50 so might aswell use them up haha) then get to the shops tomorrow and try get an early one! I think you could have a million faint lines but until you get that dark you just can’t ever fully believe it can you

I've been tracking for three months and still can't find my ovulation day. This morning I had a faint second line = negative ovulation. Any idea of the faint line means I am close to ovulating? Is ovulation generally cycle day 12 or so?

@Margo2023 its hats to say, I think a lot of people have a faint line pretty much all cycle (I know I do) as your body naturally has the hormone in even when you’re not ovulating, sorry probably not really helpful!

I’ve done another test this morning and it’s negative so not looking too hopeful now :( will give it a couple of days and try again on Saturday morning

have tested basically every wee since that very faint positive and they’ve all been unmistakenly negative, but then today at cycle day 35 I’ve had a very strong positive ovulation test, arghhh why is this so confusing! I’ll assume I’m not pregnant and that I’m about to ovulate but that still doesn’t explain the faint negative, because surely if it was a chemical then I’d have already ovulated! Baffled!

Oh gosh, sorry I just don't get it. Our bodies are definitely weird things.
