How many children when you're over 30?

If you started over age 30, did you have loads of children?

Just an idle wonder... I'd love to have loads but cant cope with the idea of spending most of my 30s preg and most of my 40s with young ones so I guess I've left i too late. Oh well...

Oh, by the way, my FSH was 5.7 so that was a relief, at the age of 39 and this is the second time it was checked, it was 6.1 about 8 months ago, it never has gone above that, my LH was great too at 2.4 wish I would get lucky one of these months, i would probably be in so much shock if it did happen i don't know what i'd do!!!!!!!

I know how you feel, went off pill last June at the age of 38 and just turned 39 and still not prego! I thought it would be easy as my first 2 were, haha! I wish!! unexplained so far, just keeping in prayer for that special day when I finally am or decide to have IUI or IVF, but hopefully it will happen naturally. Good luck to you too,how long have you been ttc, now it is 12 months for me

Why do husbands always say no????!!!!!
We have 2 boys and I would love to have just 1 more and obviously it would be a bonus if we had a girl. If we had another boy I certainly wouldn't go for no.4.

DS 32
DD 35

Not sure about no. 3.

Am a fraternal twin, already have 2 and will be 37, so a little nervous that would actually be 3 and 4.

Had my 1st at 32 and my 2nd at 34.
Was not ready for kids before that and have not given up yet on trying for more.

Had my DS (my first) back in Jan just a couple of weeks before my 37th birthday so just snuck in at 36

At my NCT class one of the other mums-to-be asked me how old I was and when I told her she looked slightly surprised and told me I looked good for it Didn't realise I was that old!!!

Am definitely planning to have at least one more and possibly two but am panicking a bit about spacing as DS is extremely demanding - needs lots of attention and never sleeps and I'm not sure I can cope with another one or two the same at my advanced age

I was 33 for dd1
and 35 for dd2

didn't have any more coz I felt a bit too old , but probably would have had a 3rd one if I'd started sooner. Tbh, I am 43 now and really grateful I don't have to cope with the baby thing any more.

Now at 39 going for #3.... I really believe that children keep you young. If you would like a child, then go for it, and don't worry about the age thing. 30's is definitely young these days...

Ds 31 (nearly 32)
I am 34 (nearly 35) and about to start trying for no2. I would really like 3 but I am also very keen to get career back on track and not be so skint so I think it is unlikely we will have more than 2.

I had DD at 29. Would love to have a second but at present unable . I'm 34. If my op next week is successful and if it does impove my fertility chances then I will like to have another child sometime soon.

At 30, hadn't even given children a thought! If I have another, it won't be until at least DS1 is at school. That's only a year off mind... Hmmm.
