First ever tww!

Hi all, so I'm about to start my first ever tww - well my app says today is my last day of my fertile window, so will probably have a cheeky dtd tonight! But my period is due a week Sunday on 26 April, so it's two weeks exactly from now.

Is anyone else at the same point in their cycle and want to join me? I haven't bought any pg tests as I only want to take one if my period is late rather than testing at the earliest opportunity - all part of my (trying to be) relaxed approach to ttc. I'm not hopeful it's happened this month though, what with it being our first try and me having way too much to drink over the weekend which was my fertile window, I'm sure it will have stopped anything happening!

How is everyone? Any updates? We are ttc again now that the wedding is closer

I've changed my mind - I'm going to wait until af is officially late before testing. No spotting as of yet but I've just got a feeling that I'm not pregnant, it's made me all down in the dumps and cranky if I'm honest, feel like I could just burst into tears at any minute (although that could be PMT!) so won't be buying a test until Monday after work, if no af by then.

Isn't ttc supposed to be fun? This is only my first cycle and I'm already fed up x

Looking forward too hearing back the results of you who are testing tomorrow.

I'm due AF tomorrow too but for all my attempts at symptom spotting feel very normal for this time of the month. Pre-birth control my periods were all over the place (I remember gaps of up to three month when I was stressed out about exams) so I will probably wait another few days for confirmation of actually being late before testing.

Good luck lollipop! Wow you've done well if you're actually late, I'm due tomorrow! So impatient as its only my first cycle haha.

I'm out for this month as I'm pretty certain that AF arrived yesterday - was hoping it was just going to be spotting but, this morning, am pretty sure it's the full shebang!!

Oh well, only a few days and it will beback to peeing on opk's for me.

Good luck to everyone else entering the testing window this weekend xx

Fingers crossed for us looking, and for everyone else still in the tww. Although, I accepted a new job yesterday so I am now almost hoping that I'm not actually pregnant this month (cannot believe I just said that!!!).

I'll be testing tomorrow morning if no sign of AF today. It's four days late now (going by cycle length before BCP), so will be five days tomorrow. I'm nervous! I have a feeling I'm just experiencing a long cycle as this is only my second cycle after the pills, but I think I need to test soon as I am almost into a three week wait Grin

Just bumping my thread as I'm coming to the end of the tww! Will be testing tomorrow AM if no signs of af today.

Anyone else testing this weekend?

Congratulations on the wedding chelle! Put all your obsessive ttc energy into that, you'll have a fab day and the planning is great fun!

Queazy I'm the same I'd rather wait for af. 99% decided I'm not going to test Sat AM, will buy a test on Sat if I haven't had any spotting, then test Sun morning (day at is due) if nothing. Still going to get a FRER though!

Well I think I'm out and therefore officially crazy! (Not even I can convince myself this is just spotting and not the beginnings of AF). All those years of protecting against pregnancy, DTD every other day or more for a month and nothing! I'm telling myselfy symptoms were down to getting over a stomach bug bit next month I'll just have to admit I'm actually crazy! Haha! On the plus side, first cycle off BC was 32 days and now it's 28! Fingers crossed it stays at 28! That's a whole extra chance over the course of a year! And only a week and a half until I can obsess over POAS again! (OPKs).

Good luck the rest of you. There's still a chance for you. Massive congratulations Queazy!

Congrats on the wedding chelle!

I used Clearblue digital pregnancy test on the day my period was due. I used endless sticks trying for my dd and spent a fortune (always Clearblue for some reason) instead of being sensible and buying cheapies off amazon. I understand completely why you're all POAS as my god I honestly did by the bucketload but when I finally got pregnant strangely I waited both times until day of period. I think I had symptoms that truly made me think I was pregnant and I was too nervous to see a bfn. In a way, I'd rather wait and get AF than see a BFN on a stick.

Yeah, my first month. I'm going to spend a couple of weeks wedding planning instead of baby planning. We have decided to squeeze in a quickie wedding before baby comes along Grin

Massive congrats Queazy!! The first of our little bunch to get the bfp we all seek!!

I'll admit I did a sneaky poas this morning after DP went to work (at stupid o'clock) but, unsurprisingly, bfn. I'm 9dpo so probably too early really, AF due any time from Sunday onwards so probably ought to hide the hpt's for a few more days!!!

Sorry about af coming chelle. It was only your first time right? Stay positive!

Congrats Queazy! Can I be cheeky and ask what test you used?

That sounds very promising coconut, would coincide with the timing for implantation bleeding! I've been desperately hoping for a bit of spotting as apparently I would see implantation bleeding between mon and thurs this week, but not holding out hope!

I don't know to be honest chelle. I don't think of beat myself up as I would only have a couple of drinks, plus I read on another thread that the foetus doesn't consume what you're consuming until 5 weeks? Amazing how little I know yet how obsessed I am. I'm dying to poas but don't want to fall into the trap of doing it every month, and doing it early. I think DH is already a bit Hmm that Ive mentioned testing before my period is due. But I wouldn't want to do it without telling him...

looking think one or two won't hurt. Imagine all of the women that don't know they are pregnant and still drink. How would you feel if you found out you were pregnant after having a couple? It'll do no harm but will you beat yourself up over it?
