TTC 22Yrs old & coming off of anti-depressants... HELP!

My other half and I have decided that we want to start a family. So in November 2014 I came off of my contraception. 6wks passed and I had my first period (which was highly traumatic I might add!) and then right on schedule, 3wks later and the second period comes.
I went to the doctor, she said I should be regulated out now. I just have to come off of my anti-depressants. I'm taking 50mg Sertraline which I'm now taking one every other day. But I'm so worried that it's affecting my fertility. I think the longer I go without falling pregnant, the more worried I'm becoming that I never will.
HELP ME! I need someone to talk me out of my craziness!

I came off mine last April so that we could start trying in July. It was hard enough to come off them in the first place but now we've found out I'm not ovulating and so going through all the infertility options. I know I need to go back on them but just don't want to risk all the side effects. So unfortunately I can't 'talk you out of your craziness' but I can assure you that you're not alone xxx

A lot of women (accidentally) concieve on sertraline and some continue taking it throughout pregnancy (should obviously be discussed with doctor), so I think it's unlikely to be affecting that. Have you discussed stopping them with your GP? Maybe s/he could change you onto something else?

It's really hard when you're TTC for any woman, and I think most think it will never happen until it does. Easier said than done but try to relax and enjoy time with your OH, you two will need to be stronger than ever over the coming months xx
