LH & FSH Results

Hi,

Can anyone help me with my blood results please?

GP tested my LH & FSH (Lutenizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone) on CD3 (tests must be done during AF)

My results were 3.4 and 3.5
Normal ranges for both are between 3&12. So I appear to be at the lower end of the scale. GP was reluctant to advise any further, other than 'it's fine as long as you are within range' - well obviously there is a 'range' for a reason so I just wondered if anyone was able to shed any light for me?

Ah ok I see, I will take those results for now :)

My normal cycle is usually 90 days + No PCOS, no endo etc so was trying to find out why. Acupuncture is working for me at mo bringing me down to 35, 40 day cycles so we shall see!

AMH is apparently much better than FSH because it does not vary month to month and can indicate a problem before the FSH starts creeping up. However, if you have no cause for concern I am not sure I would stress about that at the moment. Have you been trying for a while?

Thank you farfalla - really appreciate the reply. I did a lot of reading last night and mostly said the same! You know when you just find that one piece of contradictory info on the internet!! But yes, this is good thanks.

Do you know anything about AMH tests by any chance? I am thinking that as these results are good, I wouldn't need an AMH test?

Those are great results, you want FSH to be at the lower end and you want them to be roughly the same.
