Can stress delay ovulation?

Due AF yesterday but no sign of her yet. Have POAS tonight but bfn.
Lots of cramps, wind and nausea.
AF never been so much as an hour late in 3 years of ttc #2. Every 27 days to the hour.
My question is - around ov time, just before Xmas, we had lots of stress (a close bereavement and other things), could the stress have delayed ovulation? Hence a delayed period? Or even caused ovulation to skip entirely and I won't get a period at all?
Has anyone experienced this?

Yes, stress can definitely delay ov. Has happened to me twice over the past 18 months, ironically both times when I was getting really stressed about not conceiving...
