Anyone else going to be trying for a baby in April?

My husband is away for 3 weeks in March and when he gets back we plan to catch as soon as possible. We already have 2 babies and have never had issues conceiving in the past.

I have a coil at the moment which I will have taken out while he is away.

Getting excited about it now! Our third and final baby.

I work as a home carer on zero contract hours so I am going to have to hide the pregnancy until the 25th week. My work uniform is quite baggy and I will just make sure I wear a jumper when I go in and see them in the office.

I am hoping they won't outright ask me anyway, just praying I can keep it a secret!

Would love to connect with other mums in a similar boat!

Yes, I only need to wait a couple of months but I realised one of the reasons I was keen to ttc this year, was because I hate my job so much. I think it's a better idea to wait a year in a job I enjoy

well I am considering moving jobs, which would put back TTC somewhat.

DD has been ill all of last week and not sleeping, and I caught it from her so it's been a bit of a miserable week or two! Has made me think I might delay TTCing until winter is definitely over and she stops getting so many bugs and sleeps better

Haven't got the energy to DTD at the moment anyway!

i've just popped to boots and got some folic acid & vit D (they do a little pot with the 2 combined into one pill). It's a 2 month supply. These are the most important to the baby's develpoment I think? Will probably upgrade to Pregnacare if/when I get pg...

Who is taking prenatal vitamins and what are you taking? I've read you should start taking them 3 months beforehand so I should get some.

All good here ta witches! Glad you are all doing good! We are awaiting dhs pay rise mrsbryan... Then we will deffo be all set for the next one. Bit worried about the financial impact of a second one, but at this age i have been told it isnt very different?
Once they are at school i know that changes, but I shall then be in a good profession (if post grad goes to plan!)

Good morning all! I've been a bit distant the last few days because we have just bought a new car so have been busy collecting that and preparing paperwork etc.

My husband has just been granted funding to do a HNC course with his work which is such brilliant news! He starts next year.

things really seem to be coming together for us in the Bryan household.

Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the spring sunshine we've been having :)

sounds amazing!

yeah I know what you mean. some days I think it's never going to happen for us again, and it seems like such a long wait to just even start trying. but then I always think it will happen if its meant to so I guess we have to be patient. arghhh Grin

I can't wait! We're staying at the El Dorado Casitas Royale in a swim up suite.

We've been having a rough time at the minute, lots of stress and worry so we can't wait for a couple of weeks chilling. And baby making hopefully!

My worry is that it won't happen as quick as we like as I'm still on the pill. My cycle tends to be hit and miss when I'm not on the pill and I didn't want to risk AF while we're away. I'm staying on it for one more pack and then AF will come the week before the wedding. So I'll only have a couple of pill free weeks before the honeymoon.

Hello :)

We are hoping for DC2, ttc from now! DD is 2, but I'm already an older mm, so convinced it won't be as easy this time round. In fact I've almost convinced myself it won't happen at all, but I'll never know unless we give it a try!

Me and my fiancé have already started on the vitamins too, I've made him join in with the Wellman Conception. He used to smoke but quit a year ago so every little helps!
