Hi

We've been ttc since June last year and I have recently (January) been given a diagnosis of PCOS so have been advised by the dr to start charting as I have no idea what's going on in my cycle.

Anyway, I have been looking online at thermometers and have no idea what I'm looking for. I found one on amazon and one on the boots website with mixed reviews and I really cant be doing with something that is going to make this any harder than it already is.

So MNers, if anyone has done the charting thing, where should I be looking for a thermometer?

Thank you!!

Hi Handbag!

I just use a basic digital thermometer. I think the trick is to be as consistent as possible. Be really strict about taking your temp being the first thing you do each morning - before you've even sat up in bed, let alone got out of bed.

Can recommend Fertility Friend as a way of recording temps. Its also got some good tutorials and FAQs re temping.

Good luck!
