I'm in the same boat as some of you - one of my close friends got married a few months ago and is now TTC, but I've told absolutely no one about us. Loads of my friends knew when we were TTC DC1 and I hated the pressure each month around testing time. I don't think anyone suspects a thing this time as DC1 is still a baby and I'd told people we were going to wait a while before we tried again but we have now changed our minds! I would LOVE to be pregnant at the same time as my friend though! I had a friend pregnant at the same time as me last time but she was five months ahead of me so was enjoying newborn snuggles while I was still in the midst of sickness!

I'd love to hear about preseed too!

SaraRB123 · 03/11/2013 21:58

Elcranko, I will let you know hw I get on later with preseed, obviously I wont be able to tell you if it has desired effect re bfp yet ;-) but will let you know what its like. Will give a little review tomorrow evening!

I know exactly how you feel, I am hoping with all my might that my friend and I are pregnant together...it would be fab to share all of our experiences with each other as we are going through it...fingers crossed that it happens for both of us. My main hope is that I'm pregnant for Christmas...it would be a fabulous present for my OH...I know that he has dreamt his whole life of unwrapping a stick that I've pee'd on!!!!!!

mama - yes it is for dryness - other lubricants kill sperm so this one is swimmer friendly ;-) but it also 'helps' them to reach their destination...or so it says on the tin! The reviews are very promising on amazon, and I posted a seperate thread on here to ask others to share their experiences, and all are very positive!! Its cant hurt to give the little fellas a helping hand...x

Sara that sounds great, but reckon if I used it, DH may drown (sorry tmi lol) and then how would I get my bfp?!!! :/ kidding! But really that sounds great if it does the trick and kills 2 birds with one stone! Good luck:) reviews sound promising :)

Haaa Mama that made me laugh!!! Well, I'm off to bed now so will let you know in the morning post dtd... ;-)

When reading the back, the recommended 'dose' seems a LOT so Im not going to use that much in fear of like you say, the OH drowning and it all becoming a little bit too juicy and slippery!!!! Ha ha ha!!

If you don't hear from me tomorrow, you know we have both drowned in action!!!

Report
ImaginaryHat · 03/11/2013 22:28

Just logged back in Sara, if you read this before dtd DONT use the recommend amount, its waaaay to much!

Report
ImaginaryHat · 03/11/2013 22:35

Mama and elcranko, I use it primarily to try and help the swimmers reach their destination as I don't get much of the ewcm that helps them travel. However it has been useful as just a standard sperm friendly lubricant to help a couple of times when not particularly in the mood but wanting to dtd cos of ovulation. Jeez I would never say any of this out loud in real life!

Hello ladies, fx for us all this month :) I need to alter my stats, bfp due 13 November now not 18 after having redone my numbers Blush Only 2 weeks to go...!

Imaginary I know the feeling about talking about stuff like this in RL - I know I've been spending way too much time on here when I discuss things with my friends (especially those with no DC or any experience of TTC) and they look a bit horrified when I share slightly too much info!

Report
elcranko · 03/11/2013 23:32

Thanks for the preseed info so far, I like the sound of it helping the swimmers along as well as being a lube. I may try it next month if no joy on this cycle. Dim question- do you just buy it over the counter at the chemist or something?

Report
SaraRB123 · 03/11/2013 23:38

Well ladies, I did not drown, nor did my OH!! I will tell you all about it tomorrow as going to bed now but the consensus here is all good. Used much less than recommended amount, and it wasn't too slippery haha, it was actually really nice (blush) very comfortable and my OH didn't really feel too much difference which is good.

I would NEVER tell people what I'm telling you all in RL my god I would just explode from blushing so badly!!!

Elcranko, I have ordered it off amazon - the larger tube with applicators rather than the single use ones, but I'm too impatient so I drove to our large chemist 20 minutes away after ringing round to see who had any - none of our local ones had it.

I will tell you a bit more tomorrow as long as you don't mind all the gory details lol, or I can just leave it there!!

Report
elcranko · 03/11/2013 23:42

Ah I didn't think to order online, thanks Sara. And the more gory the better IMO Grin

Report
SaraRB123 · 03/11/2013 23:54

Pleasure Wink I order everything from amazon lol, it's my lifeline!!

Ok then, well I will report back with a full and frank detailed report on how it was! But IMO, get ordering. It can't hurt to give those swimmers a little bit more moisture to help them along their way surely!!! X

I now have 3 veins running through my booby area...and my boobs are ridiculously sore, I'm going to bed with a padded bra on because they are too sore to 'set free'. Is this normal from coming off the pill? I'm quite worried...

PS we have mentioned to a couple of people (my DMum and DSis and DF) because we wanted some support from friendly people - but only those who we would also tell about a MC iyswim. Not a word to anyone else :) But it has helped and I've not only had some great advice but also a couple of friendly faces to whinge at when AF arrives...

6dpo (CD18) and my addiction to POAS has resumed. Just a nice grey evap of course! Had the most awful cramps last night but felt like AF cramps Confused

My DS2 (7) has gone off to have an operation (his dad has taken him) on his ears so I'll be nervously waiting all day for that. And I need to get my assignment finished (it was due 2 weeks ago!).

Choccy, let us know how you are after your backache yesterday.

Choccywoccydodah · 04/11/2013 07:55

Omg dinky you so make me smile, I hope you get a mega early bfp!
I'm 7dpo today, the dreaded spotting day. It doesn't normally happen til around 7pm so we'll see.
My theory is that I've actually fallen pg every month but my LP was too short for it to stick hence af.
But this month I will obviously get my bfp due to b6 Wink

Still got a little backache, crampy feeling when I lay on my belly last night, and my boobies are still odd feeling.

Re the preseed, I use conceive plus and agree, do not use the amount they recommended!! I put 2.5ml into a calpol syringe when I first got it, I only put half in and I couldn't feel anything as it was far too wet!!!
I literally put a dollop on the end of dh now Grin

Hey dinky, is he having gromits?? My daughter had gromits out in on Thursday, op went well and she's absolutely fine, back to school happy!!! The amazing thing is she said, mum dad I can hear you really well now!!!

I am now 8 days late, feeling very sickly this morning, slight back ache, bloated. I've got a dr app this afternoon to see ha the says about missed period and whether I'm just not producing enough hormones for it to be picked up or whether I've just missed a period completely.

How is everyone else??

Nervously waiting for my progesterone blood test in a room full of info on the walls on how to look after children and babies. Just seems a bit mean. Makes me wonder if it'll ever be relevant information for me

That does seem mean, Science. They don't think it through well. I remember when my friend had a miscarriage, they put her on the maternity ward overnight!

Yup grommets - should be all done by midday hopefully. His dad (exH) is keeping me updated by text Smile

Haha mama you're really going for it this month aren't you! Grin
