I just had Endo excision surgery at the spire elland hospital with mr trehan. He removed Endo from my bladder, adhesions from my right ovary, some on the left and suspended my ovaries. Anyone else had this type of surgery and got pregnant?

Laura that is wonderful, I will have to wait and see. Mr Trehan was quite insistent not to go for ivf for the time being. I need to have my stitches out tomorrow so that the ovaries can move back to their normal place. Good luck with your 2ww. xxx

I had this done! Was pregnant 7 months later after testing for 2 years. Tubes clear, cysts and adhesions on back of womb and ovaries. They were more extensive than expected.

My dd will be 1 in 3 weeks. Currently on 2ww for potential second!!

Good luck!

wow Helen, you must heal quickly! i think I will wait a few weeks. thanks ladies for the positive stories. I had laser surgery in April but was convinced it had made it worse. I really like Mr Trehan, he is so patient and spends as much time as you want explaining things rather than ushering you out after a mins like the last consultant I had. He also calls and checks on you. Fingers crossed, the adenomyosis isn't causing any issues!

We started trying about a week after my surgery bit didn't have any luck the month of my operation but got my BFP the following month. I had my surgery with Mr Trew at Hammersmith hospital, but I've heard great things about mr trehan on some other website I've been on. Best of luck

that's so great to hear Heart7 and Helen. Yes, my tubes were clear, so were the ovaries but he said my womb was larger than what is normal so he thinks i may have adenomyosis. he said that won't affect implantation. he did the peritoreinal exicision as i had endo and adhesions. i feel really swollen and sore. did you wait a few weeks before trying to conceive?

helen - did you have the surgery with Mr Trehan?

Yes, I had very similar surgery and was pregnant within a month of my surgery. Best of luck & fingers crossed for a BFP soon.
