IL's and parents have been asking me for xmas present ideas - I really don't have anything I particularly 'want'.

So what's on your christmas list? Inspiration needed please!!!

Can you buy slankets on the high street or just on line? I saw some of those gel hand warmers I think you're meant to put them in your gloves? Anyone know if they are any good or just another gimmicky thing they bring out every year for christmas?

Super Mario Bros Wii
deep fat fryer
Nintendo DS
some little jam and honey jars with spoons
books books books

this is a mental list though, I don't make physical lists. I would rather be surprised with something I didn't wish for.

feedthegoat: those shoes are brilliant!

nickytwotimes: would it be an idea for you to buy each other everyday toiletries and wrap them up? that's basically what we're doing (apart from one pressie that's a proper pressie) we can't afford to do the pressies thing either, but it would mean that you've still got something to unwrap.
and as you knwo they'll get used and you would be buying them anyway, it's not a waste of money.

Dh and I are buying each other nothing. Skint, and we need nothing.

The oldies are giving us money/vouchers for clothes as we look like tramps.

I've spent half of it online already.

i want a chopper/slicer or a mini grinder.
(obv not both because that would be execessive in cost terms)

PMSL @ the slanket. I would love one, but I know DH would never, ever buy one for me, not in 1000 years. He would know that if I had one of those I would never get off the sofa! Damn, it looks cosy!

I have requested:

Issey Miyaki perfume
[[http://www.bohemiadesign.co.uk/babouche-list-13-prodlist-41 These slippers] (I always buy these, and need a new pair)
A Gap cardi
A gorgeous pair of pyjamas
Um, think I did ask for a couple of other things, but I can't remember what now.
