Anyone else's dog suffering from Christmas attention let down?

DDog. Has LOVED Christmas all 4 children back home plus oldest boyfriend = constant attention for him he loved it (and has likely put on a bit of weight from the upped treats)

Today there is only dh myself and youngest dd who is going back to uni next week and D dog is sooo needy of cuddles and attention. He has spend the day wandering between the 3 of us for cuddles and usually he is happy to snooze the morning away.

He really seem to miss them all checking rooms every morning to see if they are around.

His doggy daycare restarts tomorrow and I think he needs the every day again to cope with the changes.

Did wonder about putting this in the dog house but it felt Christmas related so went w here.

Ours is definitely miserable. The kids have gone back to school and she is wandering around looking for then. She loves the holidays when they are constantly here, and she can cuddle up, or join in their craziness.

Mine is the opposite. He has loved having the family to stay for two weeks, but only used to having me around full time. Loves the cuddles but gets a bit obsessed with needing to know where everyone is. They all left a couple of days ago and he has slept for about 24 hrs and is now back to being my happy relaxed pup again.
