Board games for 7 year old

Any suggestions for board games that would be interesting to both a 7 year old and adults?

Ds only has me to play with in the evenings so looking for board games to pass some time in the long evenings - ones that wont bore me or him

He has monopoly and cluedo junior. Are there others along these lines?

Ds1 is 7, about to turn 8. Current favourites & Christmas purchases include:-

• Ticket to Ride First Journey
• Exploding kittens
• Labyrinth
• Rummikub
• monopoly Jnr
• Quirkle
• Pass the Pigs
• Battle Ships

He also loves chess, so it could be a good time to start that, if it’s something you enjoy it.

If there are ever more of you, Cluedo is also good. As my son has approached 8, he has really gotten into it, and can beat us!

My son is 7 and his favourites are:

Quirkle
Blockus
Pokemon Monopoly (special edition, bought from eBay)
Monopoly Deal
Chess/Draughts (Smyths do a good value wooden set)

For Christmas I've ordered a few more unusual games to try from Zatu Games:

Machi Koro (supposed to be a mix between Monopoly and Settlers of Catan)
King of Tokyo
Sushi Go

I feel like we've exhausted all the usual games, so I think I'd going to start looking at more specialist games from next year.
