Christmas week mea plan

What are your meal plans looking like leading up to Xmas?

So far I don't have to cook Xmas eve
Xmas day is the usual
Don't have to cook Boxing Day
27th will be nibbles and left overs (best day!)
28th turkey curry

I don't know what to cook in the days leading up, the 22nd (Sunday) would normally be a roast but I won't because it's too close to the Xmas meal

I'm doing 'the big shop' on the 20th and would like to have a solid meal plan so I don't go too mad.

So looking for inspiration..

Christmas Eve will be ham based....I cook the ham and then spend the whole afternoon fending off people tryin to pick bits off it!

Boxing day is leftovers
27th...add in a pile of fancy cheese and bread if the shops have any
28th...I try and stretch the leftovers out for another day but usually someone starts begging for Christmas pie

Christmas pie is either
A) puff pastry on a swiss roll tin, layer in left over turkey and ham and really thick sauce and bits of stilton, cover with another layer of pastry, egg wash and cook
B) hot water crust in a deep round tin, or a loaf tin if you just have a normal amount of leftovers...again layer in your turkey and ham, any stuffing, leftover cranberry sauce more meat, just layer in everything! I even put some boiled eggs in once...Gala Pie stylee, make a pastry lid from leftover pastry and into the oven with it.

The kids (adult) seem to think curry and Christmas Eve not okay but NYE and curry is acceptable.

Might do some sort of hot cobs on Christmas Eve then. Any good ideas for veggie ones along the lines of turkey and stuffing?

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie a curry feast sounds amazing, your could do loads of side dishes like Bombay potato's, onion bhajis.

Can I come?

Monday 23rd - out for family Christmas lunch

24th - we usually have cheese board tea with sausage rolls and other stuff, but I'm trying to persuade people that we should make a couple of curries instead and have a curry feast

25th - Christmas dinner with nut roast (bought from Waitrose and already in the freezer)

26th - probably something cheesy - baked camembert, little garlic roasted potatoes, picky bits

Tues 31st - baked camembert / cheese fondue (started as a joke when we were first married, now a family tradition)

No idea.

I can't meal plan, my family is too busy and plans are unpredictable.
Christmas dinner on the 25th, and in laws on the 28th- so a ham for that.
Otherwise who knows.
Supermarkets are open on boxing day, so I don't buy too much ahead.
