starter ideas for children

am doing a smoked salmon/prawn type thing for the adults, but we have dc attending that won't eat this.

Does anyone have any ideas of a simple starter idea that can preferably be made in advance?

Sorry Evans...... the run up to xmas kind of got in the way!

Anyway in the end I went with dough balls, and some little chopped up carrot/cucumber sticks a la Pizza Express - all seemed happy with it.
