In my Dreams though ......

.... A decent internet service that doesn't give me "you have insufficient bandwidth available" when I am the only one on the internet...

.... A family meal menu generator that suggests what I can cook from the random selection of obscure stuff that I have in fridge and the cupboards...

... An automatic "off switch" which enables ALL the lights and electrical stuff in the house to go out at the same time so I don't have to go round and turn them all off...

.... A decent Pomegranate Cordial that I can use with my Soda Stream machine....

.... A step-in full-height blow dry machine to use after I have had a shower - I hate towels....

.... A decent haircut that I can just shake and go - rather than towel dry, comb, mousse, comb, blow dry, comb, tong and tease and then spit into any kind of semblance of having hair...

....and a self-cleaning house....

not asking for much am I ???

I need a new pair of boots for dog walking so as it's Christmas will be "stepping up a brand" and having Nirth Face :)
Aside from that I genuinely have everything I want. A little extra cash would allow for a few treats every month but TBH I know people with lots of disposable income who don't have the family time we enjoy.
Oh, I would like a self emptying dishwasher though :o

Look over they have those whole body blow dry things in the changing rooms at centerparcs!
I'd settle for an afternoon in my favourite cafe with a book. Right now that sounds like (unattainable)heaven as I have an 8 month old but your words have me thinking and I'll stop yearning for solitude and revel in all these midnight cuddles :)

Given my time again - I wish that I hadn't wished stuff to whizz past so fast.... I was impatience and couldn't wait ......

Please enjoy those magical moments that you have with your little ones - I am so envious as I love eveything Christmas .... Shame that I live with a Christmas Grump - tinsel rules !!!

Aww, my PFB was my Christmas Present in 1999.
Fast forward to a Typical Teen Grin

I'll have my M&S bag and my solitaire ring (that I'm wearing early)

I want a nice peaceful lead-up to Christmas with my DS not complaing about "Child Cruelty" when we make him go shopping.
And surviving the shops with 11yo DD (Primark, New Look, H&M ) as she rattles through, with me carrying the basket .

..aahh that is so nice - congratulations - your contentment just oozes from the few lines that you have written - enjoy they are small for such a short length of time...

Actually, I don't need or want anything for Christmas - and keep being asked "What do you want for Christmas" - and to be honest there is absolutely nothing that I need or want..

In years gone by I could have written lists of "stuff" that I needed but today - I can honestly say that there is nothing that I need or want.... not being smug or anything.

My PFB is all growed up - so miss now the build-up to Christmas - guess I must be priming myself to be the:-

Mother-In-Law-From-Hell-And-Christmas - bring it on !!!
