ok.. so mine craft is very poular this year. i know both my boys 4 and 7 are crazy about them.

iv found some goodies. there not bargains as they dont seem to do them but ideas for thouse that love mine craft.

tonight iv discovered how to make christmass creeper stockings...

also ebay have MC torch.. iv brought these and they are lovely. they hang on the wall by folding back a corner and being sliped on a hook. perfect night light and toy... dont forget to keep the zombies away.

I hadn't bothered to look closely at the torch and hadn't realised you could make it a wall light. That makes it much more worthwhile.

I can't wait to see your costumes. They sound great. So glad my ds didn't come up with that idea. I just have some school clothes I need to zombify and a bit of face painting.

the redstone is very small so not worth it imo but the torch i have brought is alot better. its still kinda pricy but is more worth it. plus it can be played with as well as hang on the wall.

I don't suppose anyone has found any Minecraft pyjamas have they? I've looked but can't see any. Minecraft-mad DS has birthday coming up.

Got him an excellent T shirt from Amazon last year - good quality. It had a diamond pick axe on the front.

He's going to get a set of books - beginner's handbook, the annual and another one - but he really wants some pyjamas. I'd wondered about getting another t shirt and some plain black pj bottoms.

I'm also pondering the redstone light but it looks a lot of money for something rather small. Does anyone have one?

just finshed ds2 enderman out fit for halloween.. cardbord box and duc tape.. hes been taking it to bed and feeding it :/

i think ill do a creeper the same but will hunt out green duct tape.

Just checked the tshirt I bought for ds from Argos I got 7-8. I'd say it's not too bad but def on the small side. It will be fine for my ds he is 8 next week but if he has a growth spurt it won't last long! He is an average size for an 8 year old.

Kiri... I found that after I made one myself lol.. need to do a creeper for ds2 shall try to upload a picture. Its not great but ds1 should like it.

I could do enderman though.. black duc tape would be great for that.. I used it for the hair on steve. Then I just need to do the eyes. ..or buy green duc tape lol.

Another easy idea for a cushion or even a full snuggy blanket.
I've made simple monster cushions this way but it would work well adapted for a creeper face.
Plain green fleece blanket
Cut 2 squares & make your cushion
Cut squares of black felt for creeper face
Fabric glue them on and use the iron (with something in between to stop felt burning) to seal glue & make it washable
