It's absolutely the worse thing, your lo being poorly. You feel useless and wretched but you guide her through it and then forget about it until next time.

I'm glad she's stopped being sick and hope she's home very soon indeed trace.

Big hugs Trace, I really hope that C is home soon. Look after yourself as well. Thinking of you all.

My DD was put on a drip when she was just over a year, it was the best thing for her. You noticed her 'filling out' straight away. All the best.

Just had a text from Trace asking me to let you know that Chloe is still ill and still on a drip

Oh poor trace and poor dd. I spent a lot of time on conception (and sadly mc) threads with trace. She's not had it easy.

Trace - sorry to hear about another illness. Hope you and DD both recover soon and it doesn't spread further. Fingers crossed that DD will be home with you soon.

Good luck. Poor you and your family - severe vomiting and diarrhoea is scary, but now she's on a drip, she'll be OK. Our ds had severe dehydration (loss of more than 10% of his bodyweight) and a couple of days after he got off the drip, he was full of energy again. Made me feel guilty we hadn't been able to get him to a hospital sooner, though - we would have done if we'd been in this country at the time.

Trace - sorry to hear that your DD is still poorly, sounds like you've had a rough time of it. She is in the right place and will get well.

Take care of yourself too.

Good luck on it Trace2. I've said to friends (they didn't understand but I think you will from your experience) that I love children, I just hate raising them.
There is always some illness or sleepless night around the corner. You feel like you should be able to make them better and when you have done everything you feel like you've let them down. You haven't of course but you feel like you have.
Don't worry so (I know you will but try to save your strength) because your family needs you to be strong. You did the right thing. Thoughts are with you and yours.
