Childbirth

If I don't tell someone I'll burst! 12 weeks on and I've finally remembered the first time I saw BabyG

DH is out

DD is out

DS1 is 4 (!)

DS2 is asleep!

I had an EMC under GA and everything is a bit hazy. It bothers me hugely that I can't remember certain things but I have JUST remembered holding him for the first time!!!

I'd told MW that skin to skin was important so when he was born, they just wrapped him in blankets rather than dressing him. I can remember being laid on the bed and the MW unwrapping him and laying him on my chest. God it feels amazing. I remember looking at him, kissing him, I can remember the feel of his skin and the smell of him.

I have had a cry and a tearful gaze at the sleeping baby

I would have never thought this would make me feel so happy!
