change of teats needed - teeth coming through

Hi there

I cant seem to find any advice on whether I need to be changing our DS teats on his bottles. He had one tooth come through about 3 weeks ago, and is cutting his second.

I currently have avent teats, and our DS is nearly 7 months , weaning is slow, but going ok. I bought some magic spouts for his bottles,so eventually he would be able to use those, but not having much luck with him successfully taking his milk with them.

Do I need to change the teats, or are they bite proof so to speak?? If I do need to change them, can anyone suggest??

Many Thanks for your time. :D

You don't need to change them if the flow is right for your DS, just carefully check the teats for bites and throw away any that become damaged, also don't let him chew/teethe on the bottle.
