Invite to a London meet during BF Awareness Week.....

Hi all,

I am planning a bit of an event for BFAW on the 12th of May in central london. Basically, I am doing a quiz (on paper) that will be distributed at local baby clinics that week, but I thought it would be nice to get a big group of mums at the group as well. There may be local press coming to take a pic of BF mums, though it is not set yet.

Anyway, basically it runs from 10-11:30. We have toys for little ones and there is a cafe on site for good coffee and tea. A friend (who is a zolowear sling distributer) will be there and we are going to combine it as a sort of sling showing time too. I thought maybe we could do a bf game/quiz there too with a prize if enough people come.

After the group, we are planning (weather permitting) to have a bring-your-own picnic in the local park which has a fabulous playground too.

I am also posting this on the bf forum, but thought as I show slings at the group and most people on here bf too, it would be nice to comibine it and invite everyone along.

The group is near BAker St station and also not too far from Edgeware Rd station.

I hope some of you will be able to come!

Sorry too far for me Ilana but hope it goes well.

But if anyone is in the Stoke-on-Trent vicinity I will be holding a Teddy Bears picnic during breastfeeding awareness week on Monday 9th May. We will have a similar b/f quiz, raffle, free goody bag and sing and sign (baby sign language) will be doing a demo. Oh and there is a colouring comp for the older kids.
