hello, my baby is 9 weeks old and I've had loads of problems with bf, but perservered (exclusively expressed for 2 weeks with bad thrush/latch issues/nursing strikes/bleeding nipples). I managed to get him back on one breast, but not the other.
He is having breastfeeds from one side, and ebm from the other side now. How do I increase the supply on the one side I'm feeding from? I feel I don't always have enough for him. He pulls off in some feeds and seems frustrated. He's been having green poo lately too.
thank you

thank you very much!
I am not sure how long I will express the other side - he refused it until recently, then he went on a couple of times but the nipple started bleeding again. I express it 3 times a day at the moment.

Dawnie is right feed feed feed!
But don't stress if you can't rest or eat a wonderful diet - your boobs will manage! Are you planning to express from one side long term?

First of all, well done on perservering. BF is hard at the beginning, but it does get easier.
Just keep feeding from that side, as much as possible, although frequency is more important than duration. Even if it feels like he is not getting any, the actual act of him suckling from you will increase supply.
Make sure you are drinking enough (especially in weather at the moment), resting (yeah right!), eating enough and right stuff (and protein always seemed to help me).
As much skin to skin contact as possible.
Some say taking brewers yeast can increase milk production too?
Good luck
